The most important aim of this website is to promote tourism in Uganda. Because Uganda is safe and has numerous hotels and accommodations, distributed over the whole country. There are local travel agencies and safari promotors who will help you to organize your safari in Africa.

That is why it was time to publish these information on a comprehensive website.

Dr. Arndt Embacher travelled through the east of Africa while he was studying geography. Since September 2003 he is married to an Ugandan and had ample opportunities to travel in Uganda and to collect information locally. Since he is the owner of the internet agency "sitestep.24", the idea to create this website was not far off.

Plans for this website

We start this website about Uganda with the most important facts about the country and presenting the main attractions. But the main part of this Uganda-Website is the database regarding hotels and accommodations, travel agencies and safari operators and local car rentals. Therefore we give our visitors the possibilities to plan their safari in Africa individually or to find a service provider and contact them.

At present we have about 300 hotels, appartments, lodges and further accommodations in our database. Most of them we visited and checked the contact information.
