Queen Elizabeth National Park, 4 days, 3 nights
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe airport, accommodation in Maranatha guesthouse or a hotel of your choice
Day 2: Crater Lake
Early in morning departure for Queen-Elizabeth-National-Park. Two hour stopover at the equator for photographs of the beautiful landscape. In the town of Mbarara, you have a big lunch. Known is this unique landscape around Mbarara for Ankole longhorn cattle. We the drive through the East African Rift Valley to the National Park. In the evening we will have game drive and a visit of a crater lake. Then transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Breathtaking natural beauties
In the morning after an “early coffee” we leave for a game drive in the park. After a few hours we return to the hotel for brunch. In the afternoon, a boat ride on the Kazinga channel, the connection between Lake George and Lake Edward. This trip is an excellent opportunity for bird watching. However, a lot of hippos, elephants and crocodiles will be there, too. With a cultural dinner you will enjoy the evening at the hotel.
Day 4: Tree climbing lions in Ishasha
After a relaxed breakfast transfer to Kampala to start gift-shopping. On our way to the capital we will pass Ishasha where we will have a look for the famous tree-climbing lions. In Kampala, we will enjoy traditional dishes in a restaurant of your choice.

Primate Safari 7 days, 6 nights
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Our drivers will pick you up and drive to Kampala. There is dinner and overnight stay in a hotel of your choice or in the Maranatha Guest House.
Day 2: Drive to Kibale National Park
We drive along the scenic western route along the famous Mountains of the Moon to Fort Portal. There we will have lunch. After we reach the Kibale National Park, we have a small night walk in the woods. Then there is dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Walk to the primates
After breakfast we set off for the first half of the day into the forest. On this tour we will explore primate species, such as the Red Colubus, chimpanzees, gray-block Mangabey and many other species.
The afternoon will be quite different: We will visit a nearby Ugandan village. Here you will get to know a lot about the daily life and the culture "of an ordinary village” in Uganda. These are precisely the experiences that will accompany you for the rest of your life.
Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Today it goes again along the African Rift Valley towards Bwindi. On the way we will have a stop in Ishasha and look for the famous tree-climbing lions. In the evening we reach the land of the mountain gorillas at Bwindi. It will be time for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking
Together with our rangers we will leave after breakfast for our gorilla trekking. Because the mountain gorillas move freely they are always in a different place. Therefore the hike through the jungle can take between 30 minutes and 7 hours. On the misty paths you will be accompanied by the sounds of over 300 different species of native birds. Then you will enjoy one unforgettable hour with the awesome mountain gorillas – indescribable! Back to your accommodation, you will enjoy your dinner exhausted, but excited.
Day 6: Drive to the capital Kampala
The scenic drive to Kampala will go through the hilly area of Kigezi and the Ankole area. The impressive Ankole cattle are one highlight in this region and very typical for Uganda. In the evening we will reach Kampala. There is dinner and overnight stay in the Rest Kampala Hotel.
Day 7: Kampala
Till recently, on this day we always visited the UNESCO World Heritage Kasubi Tombs. After a fire in March 2010 the visit of this highlight is still open. Depending on the stage of the reconstruction we still visit this royal mausoleum of the Kingdom of Buganda.
You can also visit several shops to buy some souvenirs. And then you will try the local cuisine in a restaurant in Kampala, what you should not forfeit - simply delicious! And then we will have to bring you to the airport for the return flight to your home country.

Birding trip tour, 11 days, 10 nights
Day 1. Arrival in Entebbe
You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport. We will pick you uo and tranfer to Kampala to check-in at your overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Kampala, drive to Lake-Mburo-National-Park
Right after breakfast, we leave for our first bird watching around Kampala. Here some of the common species in Uganda can be found, e.g. Bat Hawk or African Hobby
During the day we leave for Lake Mburo National Park. Savanna trees and grasses are typical for the landscape and numerous species of birds can be found:

Day 3: Game drive, drive to Bwindi-Impenetrable-Forest-National Park
After breakfast we will make a tour through the park and look for some wild animals. Then we turn west to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The mountain forest of this national park is one of the world‘s best places for birdwatching. 23 out of 24 endemic species of Albertine-Rift Valley can be found here - many of them threatened with extinction.
Day 4: Birdwatching in Bwindi-Impenetrable-Forest-National Park
All day we will spend with bird watching. Some of the species that we want to see today:

Day 5: Drive to Ruhizha
In the early morning we set off towards Ruhizha and will be on the road for several hours. In the evening we arrive in Kabale.
Day 6: Birdwatching in Mubwindi swamp
Today we take a morning hike to the Mubwindi swamps. The area is one of the most accessible areas to observe some of the rarest bird species in Africa, for example, the African Green Broadbill.
In the afternoon we will watch birds around Ruhizha:

Day 7: Trip to Queen-Elisabeth-National Park
Today we drive to Mweya peninsula in the middle of Queen-Elizabeth-National Park. After check-in there will be enough time for birdwatching on the peninsula and on a crater lake. Some of the species we should see in Queen-Elizabeth-National Park are:

- Grey-capped Warbler
- Black-headed Gonolek
- Redchested Sunbird
- Lesser Eurasian Honey Buzzard
- Steppe Eagle
- Amur Falcon

Not long ago a hide was built on the peninsula which offers very good conditions for observation of water birds and some Warblers and Weavers. Also the bird observatory, built in 1997, allowed to identify new species such as the Bar-tailed godwit.
Day 8: Queen-Elisabeth-National Park
Early in the morning we set out on a boat trip on the Kazinga channel. On Lake Kikorongo and the nearby papyrus swamp we will meet the Shoebill. Moreover, we shall see Adbim Storks and - because of the many lions who hunt here - even up to six species of Vulture.

Day 9: Drive to Murchison-Falls-National Park
After breakfast we leave towards Kibale National Park and continue over the Kaniyo Pabidi-sector of the Budongo Forest Reserve to the Murchison Falls National Park. On the way we stop in the Kanyanchu region for a short bird watching.
In the afternoon we arrive at the park and check-in at the hotel and will have lunch. Also here, we have a boat ride on our program. But this time on the river Nile and we will see the Murchison Falls. After the return we will have dinner and overnight at the Lodge. We expect the following species:

Day 10: Bird watching in Murchison-Falls-National Park
Today we will spend all the day in the park. North of the Nile we drive through scenic forests to dry savannahs to Para Lodge. Here is a good location for exploring Grey-headed Kingfisher, Redthroated Bee-eater. Moreover Stately Abyssinian Ground Hornbills are common here. Birds on the list today:

Day 11: Murchison-Falls, Drive to Kampala
Today we check-out early in the morning to have to look at the Murchison Falls. Here the waters of the 42 meters wide Nile are pushed through an only 7 meters broad cleft and falls down 28 meters – it‘s breathtaking! Here we will have a picnic and time to shoot great photos.
Then we leave this wonderful place to drive to Kampala, and finally to the airport in Entebbe
